Flatfoot

From Lansing

Michigan alt-country band Flatfoot formed in 2000 around singer and guitarist Aaron Bales. The group released its fifth album, Blue Water, in 2012. The Lansing City Pulse described a live set as "out-rocking the competition knees and elbows flailing wildly and somebody howling a campfire tale gone wrong into the microphone." The band describes its sound as "the twangy soul and the rock 'n roll."
