From Atlanta, GA
Signed to Pure Noise Records, Atlanta's Microwave plays emo-inflected post-hardcore built on loud guitar rock and lyrics described as depressive and softly nihilistic. Vocalist and guitarist Nathan Hardy, bassist Tyler Hill, and drummer Timothy Pittard have supported Jimmy Eat World, Motion City Soundtrack, and The Wonder Years. Loudwire named the band's third full-length, Death Is a Warm Blanket, one of the 50 best rock albums of 2019. Their fourth full-length, Let's Start Degeneracy, followed in 2024 on Pure Noise.
From Nashville, TN
Signed to Wax Bodega, Free Throw is a Nashville emo band formed in 2012 whose sound draws on Snowing and Algernon Cadwallader alongside the pop sensibility of Fall Out Boy and My Chemical Romance. The band released its debut full-length, Those Days Are Gone, and followed it with five more albums, most recently Moments Before The Wind. Its touring history includes an opening run for Empire! Empire! (I Was a Lonely Estate).
From Philadelphia, PA
Carly Cosgrove is a Philadelphia trio whose members perform under character names drawn from the Nickelodeon series iCarly: Lucas Naylor (Freddie), Helen Barsz (Carly), and Tyler Kramer (Sam). NPR Live Sessions describes the band's sound as mathy rhythms and intricate guitar work paired with vulnerable lyrics. Their Facebook page tags their style as "nostalgiacore."
From Asheville, NC

Fronted by vocalist and guitarist Chance Smith, the band has recorded an Audiotree Live session and released the EP No More Bad Dreams (2022) and the full-length Southeast of Somewhere (2023).
