Summer Dying

Summer Dying formed in Lansing in 2001 and released two albums — One Last Taste of Temptation and Beyond the Darkness Within (2013) — before splitting up. Reviewers noted the band's Swedish melodic death metal influence so strongly that one called them indistinguishable from acts bred in that scene. Kerry McCabe (Cripe) handled vocals, alongside guitarists Tony Oliver, Tim Lydon, and Briant Danial, with Ben Harris on drums and Bobby L Bryant on bass. This show at The Green Door is a reunion of sorts — McCabe previously flagged the gig to Summer Dying fans directly.
