Seritas Black Rose Band

Serita's Black Rose is a Grand Rapids project led by vocalist and harmonica player Serita Crowley and guitarist Jon Hayes, who have been performing together for over two decades. Winners of WYCE's 2012 Jammie Award for Best Short Form Album, they opened for Smokey Robinson at Frederick Meijer Gardens in 2013, and Crowley has shared stages with James Brown and Koko Taylor. The project performs as both a full electric band with bassist Robert Pace and drummer Mark Weymouth, and as an intimate acoustic duo. Their latest album was recorded in Pure DSD by Octave Records.
