Atwood Magazine named Sam Robbins one of its 2025 "Artists to Watch." He describes his sound as "old soul singer songwriter," drawing on classic 70s singer-songwriters like James Taylor and Jackson Browne. Robbins has shared the stage with Jason Mraz and David Wilcox and performed on the main stage at the Kerrville, Falcon Ridge, and Philadelphia Folk Festivals. His third album, So Much I Still Don't See, produced by singer-songwriter Seth Glier, is built around solo acoustic guitar and vocals tracked live.
