Deer & Elk

Deer & Elk is a Lansing duo comprising Jason Lantrip and Jeffery Gower that performs as both an acoustic-electric duo and four-piece band. Their sound is rooted in classic country with western swing and hillbilly boogie elements, earning comparisons to Merle Haggard and Buck Owens. The duo has played over 50 shows in the Lansing area and recently released their "Big Penny" single, a trucker novelty song about our notorious truck-munching railroad bridge.
