Black Guy Fawkes

Ian Robinson records and performs as Black Guy Fawkes, a folk-punk singer-songwriter based in Cumberland, Maryland. His fifth record, The Misery Suite, was released on Asbestos Records and features collaborations with Angelo Moore of Fishbone, Dave Hause, and Linh Le of Bad Cop / Bad Cop. The album drew coverage in Rolling Stone, New Noise Magazine, and Dying Scene. Robinson cites Frank Turner, Bob Dylan, and Against Me! as influences, and has opened for Frank Turner, Laura Jane Grace, The Bouncing Souls, and the Violent Femmes.
