From Jackson
The Tombstone Kid is a Jackson, MI-based solo act who plays original indie rock with an avowedly rough-around-the-edges approach. Recent live sets at the BlueRide Music Lounge in Jackson have included originals like "Indicted," "Commitment Suicide," "The Chains," and "What's Even the Point?" The project has also appeared at The Ashley St Social Club in Ann Arbor and The Wyrd Byrd in Ypsilanti, putting it in regular rotation across the southeast and south-central Michigan DIY circuit.

From Lansing
Launched in 2012, 40 Stitches Later is a Lansing, Michigan rock band built around everyday stories delivered without polish or apology. Their Spotify bio describes the sound as "raw and uncompromising" and their Facebook page frames it as "painting stories with the bite of an arctic Michigan winter, on the canvas of hard luck" — which is an accurate preview of what you're walking into.
From Flint
Gaddie is the project of Flint-based multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Deonta Gaddy Jr., who also performs as It's Deonta. He describes his sound as soul, blues, jazz, and folk — music that resists easy categorization and draws comparisons to Gil Scott-Heron. He has performed at the FIM Capitol Theatre in Flint as part of the Flint Under the Stars series.
