MSU Campus
The oldest continuously operated botanical garden in the country, established on the MSU campus in 1873. Over 2,000 species on five acres along the Red Cedar River near Beaumont Tower. Home to the "Music and the Garden" summer concert series — now in its tenth year — a collaboration with the College of Music featuring student ensembles, family activities, and guided garden tours. Bring a blanket or chair.

Policies
Free and open to the public year-round, dawn to dusk. Music and the Garden series runs summer months, typically every 3–4 weeks — activities at 1pm, concert at 2pm, garden tour at 3pm. Rain moves concerts indoors to the Music Building.
